Welcome to Mariposa Dance Company

Formerly CMC Danceworks. We are ready for an exciting and fresh new year of dance. We have recently put a face lift on our studio by renaming and moving to a larger location.

We are now located at 69 Peter Street South which is in the same building as Orillia Laser Tag, across from the OPP, our entrance is facing Elgin street.

Our new studio, with over 5000 sqft of space, offers 2 spacious studio's and a third practice room for students. We have mirrors and Ballet barres in each studio along with high quality sound equipment. Each studio has a viewing window so parents can watch their childs class. We have large modern changerooms and washrooms, and lockers are available to rent by the month for students. There is also an area for our dancers to eat and do homework. For parents, we have a bright and spacious lounge to relax in while classes are in progress. We have plenty of parking and are in a central downtown location. A very comfortable family atmosphere.

Our staff nurtures each child in a challenging and motivational environment, helping them to achieve all of their goals. Our knowledgeable instructors provide professional dance training in a caring and motivational atmosphere that helps each dancer reach their potential. Each dancer is a precious gift and it is our responsibilty to appreciate that gift. Our studio teaches the latest dance techniques as well as encouraging fun, fitness and friendships.

We are very proud to announce that we are a Fully Certified Teaching and Exam Facility for ADAPT. We also hold a full membership with CDTA.

All dancer's will learn the proper technique, terms and syllabus pertaining to their class. Our end of season recital is a very exciting and action filled day that all students are invited to perform in.
